Airline rerouting to Thailand boosts passenger traffic, while subsidiaries show solid growth and backlog exceeds THB 25,000 million

SKY Group (SKY) reported strong Q1/2026 performance, achieving total revenue of THB 2,784 million, up 17%, and net profit of THB 300 million, surging 47%. The Aviation Tech business within airports remains robust, supported by airlines rerouting to use Thailand as a regional hub, driving passenger growth. Meanwhile, its subsidiaries, Metthier and Pro Inside, continue to secure new projects and sustain revenue growth. The company also reported a solid backlog exceeding THB 25,000 million, which will be gradually recognized over the next 6–7 years, forming a strong foundation for long-term growth.

Mr. Sitthidej Mayalarp, Chief Executive Officer of SKY ICT Public Company Limited (SKY), stated that in Q1/2026 (January–March), SKY Group generated total revenue of THB 2,784 million, representing a 17% increase compared to the same period last year, and net profit of THB 300 million, growing 47% year-on-year. This growth was primarily driven by the Aviation Tech as a Service segment, which continues to demonstrate strong operational performance in line with the increasing number of inbound and outbound passengers during the first quarter.

As a result, aviation-related systems deployed in airports, including biometric boarding systems, Common Use Passenger Processing Systems (CUPPS), and Advance Passenger Processing Systems (APPS), have expanded in line with passenger traffic.

“Thailand remains a key aviation destination. Airlines have increasingly adjusted their routes to stop over and connect through Thailand and Southeast Asia following developments in the Middle East in March. This has led to a significant increase in overall passenger traffic across airports. Passenger volumes at airports under the Department of Airports (DOA) grew by 15% YoY, while Airports of Thailand (AOT) reported an 8% YoY increase. This not only reinforces Thailand’s potential as an aviation hub but also serves as a key driver enabling SKY’s Aviation Tech business to generate strong revenue in line with passenger growth,” Mr. Sitthidej said.

At the same time, SKY Group’s subsidiaries continue to deliver steady growth. Metthier Company Limited, a Smart Facility Management provider, is expanding its private sector customer base and introducing new services across various industries. Meanwhile, Pro Inside Public Company Limited (PIS), operating in ICT system integration (ICT-SI), continues to bid for new projects and deliver ongoing contracts as planned. In addition, SKY CC Company Limited, the group’s Contact Center business, is enhancing its competitiveness by integrating AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve service efficiency.

Looking ahead to Q2/2026, SKY remains focused on strengthening its business foundation through a diversified revenue structure, including concession-based income, recurring monthly service revenue, and project-based revenue streams. As of the end of Q1/2026, the company’s backlog exceeded THB 25,000 million, which will be gradually recognized over the next 6–7 years and serve as a key foundation for sustainable long-term growth.
