Thailand is moving toward its ambitious goal of becoming an Aviation Hub and elevating Suvarnabhumi Airport to be among the top 20 airports in the world within five years. Behind this challenge, Mr. Sithidej Mayalarp, CEO of SKY ICT Public Company Limited, believes the goal is achievable if all stakeholders work together, leveraging Thailand’s geographic advantage as a regional travel hub.

SKY ICT has developed a strategy to strengthen the country’s airport infrastructure through the “People–Technology–Assets” model, aiming to enhance all aspects of airport operations. The core of this initiative is the company’s transformation from a traditional System Integrator to a provider of “Aviation Tech as a Service.” SKY ICT plans to invest over THB 35 billion to develop technological infrastructure across Infrastructure, Software, and Data Analytics, with a long-term goal of building an Autonomous Airport.

SKY ICT aims not only to lead aviation technology in Thailand and the ASEAN region but also to develop homegrown Thai technology that can be deployed at airports worldwide. This vision positions the company to become the No.1 Tech Company in Thailand, growing sustainably while driving the country’s aviation sector forward.
